Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club monitoring the contract situation of Robert Lewandowski.

Pep Guardiola is keen to add a new striker to his squad this summer to replace Sergio Agüero, who left the club after a ten-year spell in Manchester and Harry Kane has been their top target in the ongoing transfer window.

The Premier League champions are thought to be have made a £100m offer for the England captain but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to part ways with Kane this summer and has slapped a staggering £150m price tag on the marksman’s head to fend off potential suitors.

Should the pursuit of Kane fail, Pep Guardiola’s side must definitely have a shortlist of alternatives, and is now exploring other forward options and it has been claimed that Lewandowski has emerged as an option.

According to the Daily Mail on Wednesday, Manchester City weigh up availability of the Bayern Munich hitman after seeing £100m bid for top target Harry Kane rejected by Tottenham on eve of Euro 2020.

The 32 year-old Poland international has two years remaining on his existing deal at the Bundesliga giants, and at present, has shown no signs of extending his deal.

Lewandowski played in all three of Poland’s Euro 2020 games, scoring as many goals in those matches – carrying on his superb form he showed throughout the 2020/21 campaign.

He managed to find the back of the net 48 times in 40 appearances in all competitions for the German giants.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Man City fans as usual have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
