Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Preston North End are eyeing up a loan swoop for the club starlet Liam Delap.
The teenage striker was instrumental in City winning the U-23 league last season, scoring 24 goals and assisted 5 in a sensational year for the youngster.
Delap is one of City’s most exciting youth prospects. And next season could see the teenager play more first-team minutes after dominating Premier League 2.
According to claims from Lancs Live, Liam Delap is on Preston’s ‘radar’ this summer, with the Championship club looking to sign a striker in the current transfer window.
The report adds that North End also have alternatives, as they wait on Manchester City to make a final call on the player.
PNE would have to persuade City and Guardiola to change their stance on Delap’s immediate future, with the Spaniard previously stating he is in their first-team plans ahead of the new season.
The 18-year-old striker have been touted for a huge future in the game, having already made first-team appearances for the current English Premier League Champions.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.

Hold on, Real Madrid were looking at him not so long ago and now he’s being linked with Preston? Something is off somewhere.
