A lot of Manchester City supporters have been reacting on social media after details of the club’s new kits was leaked ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Premier League champions will be kitted out in style next season if the most recent leaks are anything to go by, with three different jerseys revealed.
A sponsorless home shirt, the home goalkeeper top, and an alternative ‘Street Soccer’ jersey were all leaked by OFOBALL this past week.
The supposed new home kit has been previously leaked online, most recently in FIFA 22’s gameplay trailer, which suggests that it is most definitely the real deal.
Ederson may well be chasing another Golden Glove award next season in a black shirt with with patterned yellow, blue and green lines across it. This one was also leaked online last week by FootyHeadlines.
The most interesting design to drop was an alternative strip that follows on from Puma’s recent trend of producing football tops as casual wear. This one gives off a real nineties retro vibe.
The new home kit promises to pay homage to Sergio Aguero ‘s iconic goal against Queens Park Rangers in celebration of the ten year anniversary of City’s remarkable last-gasp Premier League title victory.
It’s a more basic design compared to last year, but there are still nicely interwoven patterns in the shirt that commemorate Aguero’s goal inspired by the scoreboard pattern from the iconic moment.
This new details of Manchester City 2021/22 kits has prompt Plenty of Sky Blues to react on social media.
First one would be nice if it didn’t have the word ‘soccer’ in the middle of it
