Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have ‘joined the race’ for Italy’s Euro 2020 star Federico Chiesa.
The 23-year-old was a standout performer for Italy at Euro 2020, scoring two goals in seven appearances as they went on to beat England in the final.
Chiesa only joined Juve in October 2020 on an initial two-year loan deal, with a conditional obligation to buy for around £34.5m plus add-ons.
However, the winger has been heavily linked with a summer exit, with Chelsea bidding €100million (£86.3m) offer for Chiesa last week.
According to calciomercato, Premier League champions City have joined the race for Chiesa’s signature, with Pep Guardiola is a big admirer of the Italian.
Chiesa had an impressive campaign in front of goal for Juventus last season, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, Man City fans as usual have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
