‘Pretty decent deal’, ‘Put a buy back clause’ – Fans reacts as Man City in talks over sale of ‘one of the brightest talents in the country’

Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Crystal Palace are in talks with the club to sign young forward Morgan Rogers.

The 18-year-old has been with City since 2019 after signing from West Brom but has is yet to make an appearance with the Cityzens. He made 28 appearances for Orient last term, registering six goals and four assists.

The versatile forward, who can play anywhere behind the main striker, is unlikely to break through with City anytime soon with the rich pedigree of talent within the first-team squad.

According to Daily Mail,  Crystal Palace are keen to sign young forward Morgan Rogers and have entered negotiations with Manchester City over the transfer.

Palace have opened talks with the Premier League champions and they are willing to sell Rogers for around £7 million but could demand a sell-on clause.

The youngster made four appearances in Premier League 2 last term before being loaned to League One club Lincoln City in January. And it proved to be a successful loan as he was handed 26 starts among 28 outings for the Imps.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.
