Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club could look to sweeten the deal for Tottenham Hotspur by offering want-away midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Kane has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad this summer and speculation around his future has only heightened this week after he failed to appear at Hotspur Way for training with his team-mrates as he had been expected to do.
Spurs are keen to retain his services and have suggested that it would take a British transfer record bid to convince them to sell their star striker to the Etihad Stadium.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola confirmed on Friday that his side are interested in signing Kane this summer, but the Premier League champions could struggle to agree a price with Spurs.
According to the Daily Mail’s Rob Draper and Joe Bernstein, Man City are willing to offer Bernardo Silva in any deal for Harry Kane, but are prepared to miss out altogether rather than meet Tottenham’s £150M asking price. Raheem Sterling, who is actively considering his future, does not want to be a makeweight.
The report, though, claims that Raheem Sterling is not interested in making the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and has refused to be a part of any swap deal.
Silva has been a superb player for City, helping the club win three Premier League titles, four EFL Cups and the FA Cup since joining from Monaco in 2017.
But his future is in doubt now after City signed Jack Grealish for £100million. They are now stacked with attacking options and Bernardo’s game time is expected to be limited next season if he stays at the club.
And Pep Guardiola has even admitted that the Portuguese is hoping to leave the Premier League champions in the near future.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Well Bernardo doesn’t want to be in England so why would he want to go to Spurs in the first place?
