Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is refusing to give up on a deal for Harry Kane this summer and are preparing to launch a new £127m offer for the Tottenham Hotspur striker.
The 28-year-old is believed to have made it clear to Spurs that he wants to move to the Etihad Stadium, while Man City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed his side’s interest last week.
Despite spending £100m on Jack Grealish this summer, the Citizens are seemingly willing to break the British transfer record for a second time to bring Kane to the club.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League champions aren’t giving up on signing Kane this summer and will prepare an offer of €150m (£127.2m) but only if Spurs are willing to change their stance on the player.
Romano, though, claims that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are still planning to keep hold of the England captain, who is yet to train with his teammates ahead of the new season.
Kane could join up with Tottenham on Friday if he returns a negative coronavirus test, having been training in isolation following his holiday to the Bahamas.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Seems too much personally, but then it’s not my money so I don’t really care lmao

Well worth £120m in my opinion. 166 goals in 245 appearances at a team like Tottenham. He’d absolutely thrive at City. Most complete striker in the premier league currently…

So around £130 mill. If Levy don’t accept this then they are just weird

If Levy doesn't accept this he can go to hell

This is the last chance. If Spurs still not sell Kane. Just wait next summer and sign Haaland.
