Bernardo Silva and ‘two or three’ other Manchester City players are looking to leave the club this summer, says Pep Guardiola.
The Spaniard stated this on Friday during his pre-match press conference ahead of Man City’s FA Community Shield final tie against Leicester City on Saturday evening.
“Bernardo Silva wants to leave,“ Guardiola told reporters.
“There are two or three players who want to go.
“When they bring some offers, and they want to leave, we are open to discuss… but it depends on them.”
But the Blues have yet to receive an offer for the players ahead of the August 31 transfer deadline.
Silva, 26, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with reports linking him with a move to Atletico Madrid.
While Guardiola did not name the other players who want to leave, it has been claimed that Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus are also keen on moving on this summer.
Oh no…

If he does end up staying he’ll hardly get game time with Grealish signing now, i can see us letting him go for cheaper than he’s worth

Hmmm I don't think jesus wants to live, aguero left and it's his time to shine

Very true, these are all players who could play week in week out at pretty much any team in the world tbf, I'd presume that's why

Definitely Laporte and Jesus. Ake seems like he wants to stay and fight for his place and I think Sterling will give it a few months before he decides whether to sign a new contract.

Jesus, Laporte and Bernardo make the most sense… Which means, If Kane comes, City will still need a permanent Kane backup (Delap 🙏🏻), a 4th CB and a Bernardo replacement (cole palmer?) City’s money should be focused on Kane and a CB if Laporte leaves. They can survive the rest.

It was bound to happen. We have too many world class players at almost every position. It's good we are strengthening ourselves.
