Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Cristiano Ronaldo‘s agent Jorge Mendes ‘will meet’ with the club today ‘to propose again the opportunity to buy’ the Juventus forward.
The premier leaque champions have been reportedly offered the chance to sign Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo as a potential alternative to Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane
Pep Guardiola’s Premier League title-holders did not consider a deal for the striker, given his past at United plus the presence of Grealish in Manchester, and insist Harry Kane remains their top transfer target.
But Ronaldo’s agent, Mendes, is striving to secure the Juventus striker a move away from Turin before the market closes on August 31.
According to Corriere dello Sport as relayed by Sport Witness, Jorge Mendes ‘will meet’ Manchester City today ‘to propose again the opportunity to buy’ Cristiano Ronaldo.
The report claims the Portuguese superstar’s agent ‘is working to find a solution to Ronaldo’s desire to change sides’
The Juve forward scored 29 times and made three assists in 33 games in Serie A last term, while Kane netted 23 goals and made 14 assists in 35 outings.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
