Manchester City fans on social media are all saying the same thing about Harry Kane after another Tottenham no-show on Sunday again as Spurs were beaten 3-0 by London rivals Chelsea.
City did all they could to land Kane but Tottenham refused to negotiate, and with no suitable alternative they decided to go into the season with Jack Grealish as their only senior addition.
Levy stood firm on his £150million valuation and it might have been too much to ask of City who had spent £100million on Jack Grealish during that time.
The wait for a first league goal of the season continues for the England captain following another indifferent performance for Tottenham on Sunday.
Started well and played some good balls into the box but barely featured in second half. One shot on goal and still nowhere near where he needs to be with his sharpness or fitness. Came deep but without the quality to make things happen.
With rumours around the England captain’s future showing no sign of going away, Many City fans on social media have jumped to their conclusions that the club ‘dodged a bullet’ by not signing Kane this summer.
Here are just a few examples of what Manchester City fans are saying!
Man City dodged a bullet not paying £150m for this fraud Harry Kane.
