Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is eyeing AC Milan star Theo Hernandez, with PSG also keen on the left-back.
Left back has been an issue for City for a few years now, with Benjamin Mendy suffering injury after injury and has not lived up to his £52million price-tag since arriving at City.
Their only other option at left-back is Oleksandr Zinchenko, for whom it is not a natural position anyway. Nathan Ake could also cover there in theory.
Oleksandr Zinchenko has done a fine job filling in when necessary, but he’s not the marquee full back City will be looking for moving forward and have reportedly set their eye on AC Milan star Theo Hernandez.
According to Calciomercato, despite the fact his contract expires in 2024, the 23-year-old left-back is in the sights of Manchester City as well as Paris Saint-Germain.
The €50m-rated Frenchman has been a key player for AC Milan in the last few seasons, asserting himself as one of the best left-backs in Serie A.
As per CalcioMercato back in June, Milan will only accept an offer of around €80m (£68m) for the French defender.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
