Real Maldrid have reportedly identified Manchester City defender Pedro Porro as a potential transfer target.
Pedro Porro has yet to make an appearance for Manchester City since joining in 2019 and it appears he won’t get the chance to play for the Premier League champions.
The young Spanish defender, who is currently loaned from the Etihad Stadium until 2022, has impressed for Sporting this season, making 44 appearances so far across the board.
The 22-year-old spent a year on loan at Real Valladolid before starting what has turned into a hugely-successful temporary period at Sporting Lisbon.
Having helped Sporting win last season’s Primeira Liga title, O Jogo claims that the Spain international is now attracting attention from Real Madrid.
The Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit have the option to buy Porro at the end of his loan spell for €8.5m (£7.3m), but Real’s interest could see them turn in a profit if they sold him on.
However, Real can realistically offer Sporting a chance to make a quick profit on a player who has also earned La Liga experience with Girona.
