Many Sky Blues were impressed with the performance of Ferran Torres in the 6-3 win on Wednesday night against RB Leipzig in the Champions League at the Etihad.
The Spaniard can count himself rather unfortunate not to score on the night. He worked hard and was involved in winning the penalty in the first half.
Although his goal was chalked off for an extremely narrow offside, the movement and footwork was brilliant from Ferran – he was just a tad unlucky.
Ferran’s potential is huge, and he will end up showing fans just how good he really is having turned in a ‘masterclass’.
This season, Torres has hit the ground running for City, with two goals and an assist under his belt from four Premier League games.
Several City fans heaped praise on him, and here are few reactions on Twitter.

our new number 9 here is getting better with every passing day. He's where you expect a number 9 to be when the ball is played into the box or when a run has to be made. Keep it up Ferrandowski
