Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club may be handed their chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic in January, with Fiorentina likely to push for a sale.
The 21-year-old striker was linked with a move to the Etihad as Harry Kane alternative as City were in the market for a prolific striker across the course of the summer transfer window.
The €40m-rated striker has been tipped to leave Fiorentina in the near future after La Viola president Rocco Commisso revealed that he has rejected a major contract offer from the club.
According to Tuttomercatoweb journalist Nicolo Ceccarini as relayed by Sport Witness, Fiorentina’s aim is to ‘maximise’ the transfer of Dusan Vlahovic, and get as much as money as possible.
The report claims the first hypothesis is to make an ‘immediate sale’ in January, at the ‘highest possible price’.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
