Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have made a ‘super offer’ for Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic.
The 21-year-old striker was linked with a move to the Etihad as Harry Kane alternative as City were in the market for a prolific striker across the course of the summer transfer window.
Vlahovic has found the net 35 times for the Italian club including 21 league goals last term. He has fired home four in seven Serie A games and two in the Coppa Italia so far this season.
He struck 21 times in 37 league appearances last season, while also recording his first goals for Serbia.
The Fiorentina forward, dubbed the ‘New Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ by some, is one of the most sought-after players in Europe ahead of the winter market after rejecting a new contract.
Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso confirmed earlier this week that the star striker has refused to sign a new contract with the Italian club.
With Fiorentina still hopeful of keeping Dusan, Several Premier League and Italian top-flight outfits hold serious interest in the Serbian, who is out of contract in 2023.
Manchester City have reportedly been holding direct talks with his representatives, while Fiorentina are claimed to prefer to sell Vlahovic abroad.
According to La Nazione as relayed by Sport Witness, Dusan Vlahovic’s agents have a ‘super offer’ from City, with a salary of €6M per season after tax.
The report claims the premier league champions are also offering ‘two digits’ in agent commission compared to Fiorentina’s €3M.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

Great player but definitely should be 2nd choice. We wouldn’t to miss out on the guy who’s going to become the greatest striker ever.

Scored 21 goals last Serie A szn for a struggling, bottom half Fiorentina side (who are now alot better) and has already scored 4 this szn. Watch the space, he is going right to the top…💫💥 pic.twitter.com/iBuHXp8Ql1
