Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have spoken with the agent of Bundesliga midfielder Christopher Nkunku over the possibility of a summer transfer next year.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a hugely productive two years in the Bundesliga, contributing 15 goals and 24 assists from just 67 appearances.

The RB Leipzig midfielder scored a memorable Champions League hat-trick against City – albeit in a losing cause – during a 6-3 defeat for the German outfit last month.

Nkunku’s performances are yet to earn him a senior debut with France, but that will not stop the former Paris Saint-Germain youngster being linked with some of European football’s top clubs.

According to French journalist Santi Aouna via FootMercato, the premier leaque champions are one of three European powerhouses interested in acquiring 23-year-old RB Leipzig midfielder, Christopher Nkunku.
