Many Sky Blues have taken to Twitter to react to Rodri’s performance as Manchester City beat the Red Devils 2-0 in a commanding display at Old Trafford to win the Manchester derby.
Going ahead through an Eric Bailly own goal, before star man Bernardo Silva beat David de Gea just before half-time. The Cityzens could have scored more had it not been for De Gea relentlessly morphing into a wall.
And though Man United managed to get a foothold in the possession charts after half-time, they rarely troubled Ederson on an afternoon that the Blues managed comfortably.
It was a dominant afternoon against Manchester united but one man who impress a lot of Man City fans was Rodri.
It was another imperious display from Rodri, who’s looking better than ever and clearly relishes bossing every game he plays this season.
The £63m Spaniard ran the show in the centre of the park for Guardiola, winning possession back and spreading passes. Some of his deliveries out wide to Phil Foden proving particularly eye-catching.
He is so calm under pressure, trusting his physicality and touch to keep possession – bossed the midfield totally and Pinged a few unbelievable passes around too.
Many Man City fans have been reacting to the Rodri’s Performance – here’s what some of them had to say on Twitter.

We need to talk about Rodri having World Class Performances week and week out no matter the opposition. He bossed PSG in Paris, Liverpool at Anfield, Chelsea at Stamford & today United at Old Trafford. One of the most underrated players.
