Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have again ‘expressed their interest in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria.
The 24-year-old Swiss international has already established himself as one of the finest midfielders in the Bundesliga which have caught the eye of several European clubs.
With his deal at Borussia Monchengladbach due to expire at the end of the season, he’s fast becoming one of the world’s most wanted men, as he is expected to leave the club for free at the end of the season.
Zakaria is able to negotiate terms with overseas suitors from January 1 and is able to sign a pre-contract agreement.
He has already been linked with a move to Manchester City multiple times this season, with Pep Guardiola potentially identifying him as a long-term replacement for the ageing Fernandinho.
According to Sportitalia journalist Gianluigi Longari, Manchester City have again ‘expressed their interest’ in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria.
However, the Journalist also states that Both Manchester United and Juventus have also made ‘new contact’.
