Manchester City have set their sights on a potential summer swoop for OGC Nice centre-forward Amine Gouri, who is valued at €50 million, according to reports in Europe.
It has been said countless times that City are in the market for a natural striker. Despite the success of the false nine system, Pep Guardiola is keen to add a clinical finisher to his ranks.
Guardiola is in need of a new forward after Sergio Aguero left in the summer. He was hoping to land Harry Kane but the Citizens could not complete a deal.
According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester City have entered the race to sign Amine Gouiri, with claimed that his style of play resembles that of Real Madrid and France star Karim Benzema.

The Nice attacker is currently one of the hottest prospects in Ligue 1, thanks to his explosive start to the campaign. It has attracted the attention of a host of clubs across Europe, including the reigning English champions.
The 21-year-old joined Nice from Lyon in 2020 and has been flourishing ever since. He has six goals in 11 games this term after scoring 16 times across all competitions during his debut campaign with the French club.
