Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report of the club’s interest in Barça goalkeeper, Marc André ter Steggen.
The Barcelona goalkeeper is facing an uncertain future at the club, with the Catalans open to a potential sale in light of their financial crisis.
Manchester City aren’t short of goalkeepers with Ederson, Zack Steffen and Scott Carson at their disposal, but El Nacional say they looking at another shot-stopper.
According to Barca Universal via El Nacional Web, the reigning Premier League champions are ‘believed to be interested’ in signing Barça goalkeeper, Marc André ter Steggen.
The report adds Barcelona might be keen on selling him to release €9m of their salary book. Bayern are also interested in him to replace Neuer, after he retires.
Does It Make Sense?
It also doesn’t make sense why City need another shot-stopper. Ederson still has five years remaining on his deal at the Etihad, so it’s hard to see him losing his place in the side or being sold.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
I’d rather not

Most of you have definitely not seen him play. We’d be better off sticking with ederson
