Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club do not intend on returning for Harry Kane after failing to sign him over the summer.
City did all they could to land Kane but Tottenham refused to negotiate, and with no suitable alternative they decided to go into the season with Jack Grealish as their only senior addition.
Levy stood firm on his £150million valuation and it might have been too much to ask of City who had spent £100million on Jack Grealish during that time.
However, Since then, he has struggled to recapture his finest form for club and country, and has only scored one Premier League goal in ten appearances, looking out of sorts in the process.
With City still in the market for a striker, rumours around the England captain’s future is showing no sign of going away.
However, According to Dean Jones via Give Me Sport, Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘pretty adamant’ to try and rekindle a deal for Kane in the next transfer window.
t“There’s no sign of it. City were pretty clear in the summer that they were in for him, in conversations and briefings, that Kane was on the agenda along with Grealish and that was that,” Dean Jones said on GMS.
“And since it all fell through, they seem pretty adamant in the fact that they’re not going back in for him,” he added.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
