‘Just do it’, ‘Bring him home whatsoever’ – Many Man City fans react to Erling Haaland transfer update

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club will have to pay £47m in agent fees alone if they are to sign Erling Haaland, who is represented by Mino Raiola.

The Norwegian has become one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market since making his breakthrough at Red Bull Salzburg a couple of years ago.

Haaland, who remains under contract with the Black and Yellow until 2024, has already netted 17 goals in 13 appearances for Dortmund this term despite injury concerns.

Such remarkable progress in Germany has invariably put the Norwegian goal machine on the radars of many European football clubs, with Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid among his suitors.

According to the Sun, Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola is demanding one of the highest agent fees in history for the 21-year-old striker to broker the deal that will move the Norwegian away from the Signal Iduna Park.

The report claims Mino Raiola demanding a £47million commission as part of the deal which would be similar to the amount he claimed when Paul Pogba went from Juventus to Manchester United.

It is reported any commission Raiola would receive from the transfer would be split with the player’s father Alf-Inge.

Manchester City are well aware of the kind of money needed to sign the Norwegian, and are pressing ahead with their plans.

In light to the encouraging update on Haaland, many Man City fans have reacted – here are some of the best responses.
