Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays another update on Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahovic.
The 21-year-old striker was linked with a move to the Etihad as Harry Kane alternative as City were in the market for a prolific striker across the course of the summer transfer window.
Having failed to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer, and with too much competition for Erling Braut Haaland signature, Vlahovic has been regarded as a realistic alternative ahead of 2022.
According to Mark Ogden at ESPN, Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic is likely to move to a team that misses out on Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.
Pep Guardiola’s side are included in that discussion, with the Blues likely to look at the possibility of signing Vlahovic if deals for the aforementioned strikers fall through.
The report says Vlahovic is a man in demand, with the Serb heavily linked with a January move to Arsenal – a transfer Ogden admits is unlikely.
We’ve known Dusan Vlahovic is yet to be convinced by a move to Arsenal for some time. However, the prolific Fiorentina man has not ruled out a Premier League switch entirely with Man City thought to be his preferred destination in England.
In light to the update, many Man City fans as usual have reacted – here are some of their responses.
Haland, vlahovic, kane in that order. Vlahovic would be a very good buy if we can’t get haland

We are getting Vlahovic, I can feel it – I’d be happy about it too.

Anyone but Harry Kane please

Providing that we don’t go for Kane, I’ll be happy.

I’m still confident in our chances for Haaland. Gossip about Madrid being favourites is just that.. Gossip. Why would City bother with these ‘supposed’ meetings if they knew their chances were slim to none!

If we miss out on Haaland, which we will cuz he’s going Madrid or PSG, we should get Felix 100%. https://t.co/JF8o4jBKQB
