‘Spot on’, ‘Sign the Contract’, ‘Best manager for a reason’ – Man City Fans Hail Guardiola After Star Midfielder’s Latest Comments

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has hailed Pep Guardiola, believing his ‘greatest strength’ is that he understands both sides of the game.

After replacing Manuel Pellegrini at the helm, Guardiola has been pivotal to City’s success in recent seasons, with several players lauding the 50-year-old for his tactical acumen and knowledge of the game.

Guardiola currently finds himself at the top of the Premier League table once again, with City currently ten points clear of Chelsea in second.

They’ve also won all of their last seven games in all competitions, an impressive run given the hectic Christmas schedule.

As per a new interview with Expresso’s e-magazine, Bernardo Silva has revealed his admiration for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

“I think Guardiola has a bit of everything. He is very complete,” A Bola report him saying to Expresso’s E Magazine.

“I’m not going to name names, but I’ve had coaches who are very good tactically and then, in human relation, are very weak; or very good in human relation and very weak tactically.

“I think Guardiola’s greatest strength is that, apart from having been a player at a very high level, which gives him a perspective of what we feel, his technical side is very strong.

“Of course, there are always players who don’t like it and others who do, but that’s like everything else. No coach has all 25 players on his side; it’s very difficult.

“He manages the tactical part, the human part and managing a locker room is nothing, nothing easy. Even more so in a team as strong as ours, most of the players cost 50, 60, 70, 80 million.

“He manages to keep players who cost this much on the bench for so many games, and even then there are no major problems… I think this shows how good he is at managing changing rooms.”

These Bernardo’s comments on Pep Guardiola were shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters.

The Spaniard is contracted at the Etihad Stadium until 2023 and could extend that, but expects to work elsewhere at some point in the future. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Guardiola and City, having previously led Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
