Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is eyeing moves for RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku in the summer window.
The 24-year-old is having a superb individual campaigns, which has not gone unnoticed by Pep Guardiola with reports in Germany claiming that Manchester City could look at a summer swoop.
City have long been credited with an interest in the French playmaker, who has 19 goals and 13 assists in all competitions. This includes a hat-trick against City in the Champions League earlier this season.
According to SportBild, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester City are targeting a move for the RB Leipzig midfielder in the summer window.
The report suggests Nkunku is valued at around €55 million, thanks to an incredible start to the 2021/22 campaign.
A product of the PSG youth academy, Nkunku has been a major success at Leipzig since joining the club in the summer of 2019.
