‘Will take him’, ‘Backup in case Laporte leaves’ – Man City Fans react as Club Eyes Summer Moves for €25m-Rated Bundesliga Talent

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is eyeing moves for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol in the summer window.

Gvardiol is having a superb individual campaigns, which has not gone unnoticed by Pep Guardiola with reports in Germany claiming that Manchester City could look at a summer swoop.

Gvardiol has developed into an excellent top-tier defender over the past few seasons, and at just 20, the versatile Croatia defender has more time to fine-tune his game.

According to SportBild, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, Pep Guardiola’s side have added the Croatian international to their wish list, with midfield teammate Christopher Nkunku also being eyed by City ahead of the summer transfer window.

As per the report, Leipzig value Gvardiol at around €25m (£21m) just a few months after winning the race to sign the highly-rated defender.

Gvardiol has this campaign made 29 appearances in all competitions, six of which have come in the UEFA Champions League
