Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is yet to decide on whether to reignite their interest in Harry Kane ahead of the summer transfer window.
As we know, City did all they could to land the 28-year-old striker but Tottenham refused to negotiate, and Levy stood firm on his £150million valuation which was too much to ask of Pep Guardiola’s side who had spent £100million on Jack Grealish during that time.
Despite their efforts, Kane remained at Tottenham and now has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal, and will be 31 years of age when his contract is up.
According to the Athletic, the Premier League leaders are unclear on their transfer stance for the England international, who last weekend tore City apart with one of the best individual performances of the season.
Despite his outstanding performance at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, there’s no denying that Kane has looked like a shadow of the player who has dominated the Premier League over the past few years this season.
With City signing River Plate striker Julian Alvarez and the likes of Erling Haaland still being linked with a move to the reigning English champions, it is understandable why the club are yet to decide on what their stance is on Kane.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Hope we actually put a good bid this time https://t.co/D1LqOVUVMX

He had a great audition Saturday. Would be my second choice behind Haaland.

No? Haaland should be the priority 100%

Well his audition at the weekend went pretty well 😅

Nope. Don’t need him. Just because he played good against us doesn’t make him good for our team. Remember traore? He only hoofed the ball behind our defence. Anyone can do that

If he’s available for about 50m after the season he’s having I would consider it
