Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola was recently pictured at a restaurant owned by the agent of Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo.
Since emerging through the academy ranks at Barcelona, Ronald Araujo has been one of the most sought-after defenders in Spanish football
The Uruguayan international, whose deal at the club expires in 2023, has been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou.
According to reports from SPORT, Pep Guardiola was seen having dinner with Edmundo Kabchi, one of Araujo’s representatives.
This development has rung the alert bells in Catalonia as an offer from Manchester City could pose serious problems in his renewal.
Guardiola has been rumoured to hold an interest to signing Araujo for ‘a long time’, according to the report as Barcelona are yet to convince their academy graduate to put pen to paper and sign a long-term deal with the Blaugrana.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, and it attracted attention from the club’s supporters.
