Manchester City and Liverpool are both reportedly preparing an offer to sign in-demand Villarreal sensation Yeremi Pino.
The 19-year-old has again been in impressive form for the Yellow Submarine during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven times and contributing four assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
The teenage star is a hot topic of debate in Spain following a sensational display over the weekend. Indeed, the winger underlined his enormous potential with a four-goal display as the Yellow Submarine sunk Espanyol 5-1.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes as relayed by Sport Witness, several Premier League sides are preparing their respective offers to sign the in-demand Villarreal star.
Liverpool and Man City are said to be the clubs ‘more interested’ in Pino and will make an approach to lure him away from Spain.
They claim Arsenal, Chelsea and a number of European sides are also ‘closely following the evolution’ of the player in a view of launching a bid.
Yeremy, who is capable of operating in a number of different formations in the final third of the field, has scored 14 goals and registered five assists in 70 appearances for Villarreal in all competitions.
The winger recently signed a bumper new contract with the Yellow Submarine, with his release clause bumped from €35 million to €80 million following the renewal.
With Pep Guardiola’s side already bracing themselves for a busy and expensive window, wherein they will target Erling Haaland, shelling out €80 million in the summer transfer window could be a tall order for the Blues.
