Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne is set to miss Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool with an ankle injury.
De Bruyne and Kyle Walker were forced off injured during the second half of the ill-tempered contest against Atletico Madrid in Spain, securing a 1-0 aggregate win and setting up a semi-final against Real Madrid.
RMC Sport reported earlier on Thursday, after further examination, it would appear possible that Kevin De Bruyne could be out of action up until the Cityzens’ meeting with Real Madrid in their Champions League semi-final clash.
According to the information of Jack Gaughan at the Daily Mail, Kevin De Bruyne is set to miss the FA Cup semi-final vs Liverpool with an ankle injury.
The report states that De Bruyne’s problem is thought to be an impact injury rather than muscular, but Man City doctors will have a better grasp of timescales for his absence after more assessment.
As part of the same report, Jack Gaughan states that Kyle Walker is also ‘likely’ to miss the clash against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“Did people forget when KDB got injured last season, Gundo had his best form of his career. And speaking about Walker, Cancelo at RB and Ake at LB and the latter has been a saviour for the past couple of matches”
