The new 2022-23 Man City third shirt is pale green with navy horizontal stripes that fade out as they reach the sides of the jersey.
A pale green Puma logo is placed on the right breast with a monochrome Manchester City badge on the left breast.
In the centre of the front is Etihad Airways shirt sponsor coloured navy.
The club’s new third shirt is understood to be paying homage to Manchester City’s monumental play-off final win of 1999.
A last-minute strike from club icon Paul Dickov rescued a 2-2 draw in normal time at Wembley Stadium, before a penalty shoot-out win over Gillingham secured promotion for the Maine Road outfit.
Despite the fond memories being drawn upon by Puma, the release is almost certainly set to split opinion amongst supporters.
Here’s what some fans had to say on Twitter about this away shirt colors by Puma for 2022-2023.
“It’s alright for a third kit. Much better than the crap they put out last season. People are just overreacting as usual.”

“It’s interesting, we won’t wear it that much anyway so I’m not really arsed but it looks quite nice, lot of people complaining about nothing. The theme of all three of our kits this season seems to be old style traditional colours with a modern twist and I’m a big fan of that.”
