Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Bernardo Silva is still waiting for Barcelona, but is beginning to run out of patience.

The Portugal international has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, though there has been no official bid from the Spanish side.

According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, Bernardo Silva is still waiting for Barcelona, but is beginning to run out of patience.

It’s claimed that the Man City midfielder sees time passing, but negotiations with the Catalan club are at the same point as two months ago.

With the midfielder keen on signing for Barcelona, it’s said Manchester City already gave the ‘ok’ to the operation, as long as the Catalan side make an offer of at least €80m.

The report shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.

“Just stay man, your career will be all but over by the time Barcelona are back to the powerhouse they once were. If this was 10 years ago i’d understand a little more, but the premier league is so far ahead and we are the best team in the world”

“As long as we got a replacement lined up , let him go. Think the fans are bored of this sh*t every summer. Be hard to replace Bernardo’s quality but I’d rather have a player who appreciates what he has , wants to be here and will give everything every single week.”

“He should look at the condition barca is. They can’t even register their players. It’s all chaos there and he should stay away from it.”
