A video was posted on social media of Haaland Haaland exchanging words with a Manchester United fan who told him he moved to ‘the wrong side of Manchester’ while out in the streets.
Since completing his £51 million move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, the 22-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable start to life at Manchester City.
Despite his global stardom, the Norwegian striker still feels comfortable enough to walk the streets of Manchester on his own, which is fantastic to see.
However, after spotting the world-class centre-forward casually strolling about, one United fan couldn’t resist telling him that he’d joined the wrong Manchester club.
“Haaland, you came to the wrong side of Manchester,” the fan said.
Haaland responded: “Nah, they love me here.”
The fan then said: “United!”
Haaland replied: “Yeah, they love me here.”
Finally, the fan said: “Come to us next season, United. Yeah, you know it – go on!
“See you later, Haaland.”

Haaland appears to have impressed everyone at City by just how grounded he is.
Manchester City look even stronger than they did last season even if they are not at the top of the Premier League table.
Haaland had been a big part of this as he has already found the net 12 times in his seven games in the league and Champions League.
With two goals coming in City’s 4-0 Champions League win over LaLiga side Sevilla on Tuesday night.
The Norwegian striker will have some extra rest before City’s next game due to the Premier League postponements following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday afternoon.
