Erling Haaland was begged to sign for Manchester United in a comical video which has been doing the rounds on popular social media platform.
Haaland, 22, continues to set the Premier League alight with 10 goals coming from his first six appearances in the competition for cross-city neighbours Manchester City.
Despite his global stardom, the Norwegian striker still feels comfortable enough to walk the streets of Manchester on his own, which is fantastic to see.
However, after spotting the world-class centre-forward casually strolling about, one United fan couldn’t resist telling him that he’d joined the wrong Manchester club.
Haaland responded: “No, they love me here.” After discussing his transfer to City with another person in the car, the first voice added: “Come to us next season, United. Yeah, you know it. Go on. See you in a bit Haaland.”

Haaland did not say anything back at that stage, but the prolific Norway international did have a smile on his face.
This video shared on social media gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the matter.

“I don’t like this. We don’t want footballers to not be ‘down to earth’ and to mix in elitist circles with heavy security etc. but if people behave like this, what choice are they left with. He looks uncomfortable. The video of Pep being chased on the bike made me feel the same.”
