‘When are you guys going to stop winning?’ – Kyle Walker jokes with Bukayo Saka while on England duty

Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker reunited with Arsenal star Bukayo Saka while on England duty and showed signs of some fear brewing over at the Etihad this season.

The pair’s main priority for the next month will be to attempt to help England achieve success in Qatar.

Whilst Saka is fit and raring to go, Walker is still recovering from a muscle injury suffered at the beginning of October.

However, England are confident that the City right-back will be fully fit for the end of the group stages, with Gareth Southgate still to decide his starting XI to take on Iran on November 21 in their opening match.

Gareth Southgate’s squad met up at St. George’s Park on Monday ahead of the World Cup in Qatar. England’s official YouTube channel uploaded footage of the players arriving at St. George’s Park – with Walker and Saka sharing a funny exchange.

Both were all smiles while shaking hands before Walker asked the Gunners winger: “Are you guys [Arsenal] going to stop winning?”

Saka did little more than laugh before adding: “Don’t worry about that bro, are you feeling good?”, in footage that will surely delight Arsenal fans everywhere.

Regardless of what fans and pundits may think – Man City are taking Arsenal seriously as they continued to defy their doubters in the race for the Premier League title.

Yes, City have the best team in England right now, but it is Arsenal who will head into the World Cup break at the top of the standings.

Considering the Gunners have barely put a foot wrong so far, you wouldn’t bet against them picking up from where they’ve left off when play resumes on Boxing Day.

Arsenal fans love Bukayo Saka’s quick-fire confident response to Kyle Walker

One supporter said: “They’re all leaning from Arteta how to answer questions.”

Another declared: “Kyle is already worried. We are definitely back.”

One laughed: “Walker knows we serious round here.”

Another added: “Such a Saka reply, so humble.”

It now remains to be seen whether Saka and Walker both start England’s opening group game against Iran next week.
