Man City plot double signing of England stars and more transfer rumours

Manchester City are plotting a stunning double swoop for England internationals Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka.

Pep Guardiola’s side are prepared to splash the cash in the summer, though they are reliant on both players pushing to make the switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Bellingham and Saka had been heavily linked away with moves away from their respective clubs, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, before the World Cup, and the speculation over their future is set to intensify after their stellar performances for Gareth Southgate’s side.

According to 90min, Manchester City’s future transfer plans involve trying to sign England duo Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham.

The Gunners are desperate for Saka to pen a contract extension at the Emirates Stadium. City have held an interest in Saka for a long time and are taking an active interest in his contract talks with Arsenal

As for Bellingham, Talks between Dortmund and Bellingham are also believed to be on the horizon, though the outcome of those conversations are expected to see the midfielder leave the Signal Iduna Park in the summer.

Real Madrid and Liverpool have both been heavily linked to the teenage sensation, with Chelsea also waiting in the wings and weighing up a move.

However, as per the report, Man City firmly believe the prospect of working with Pep Guardiola and the opportunity to team up again with Erling Haaland could be key to luring Jude Bellingham.

Elsewhere, Barcelona would still like to sign Manchester City duo Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gündogan, but the duo are not easy signings to get over the line.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) that claimed they are ‘desired’ by the Spanish club’s management as they look to improve the squad next month, but both of them would ‘difficult’ to get over the line.

The Spanish club’s financial situation means a January swoop would be unlikely but Xavi is wanting to sound out whether a double attack for both players could be monetarily feasible.
