Manchester City will entertain Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium this Friday night as they look to earn a positive result at home in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The Mancunian club managed to earn a 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers recently which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
This is the first time City will be facing Arsenal in the 2022/23 campaign, with the Gunners currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Manchester City’s recent performance in the FA Cup was strong however, having beaten Chelsea 4-0 in the third round of the competition, with the goals coming from Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden.

Pep Guardiola has confirmed Phil Foden is nearing a return to action ahead of the FA Cup clash. He was an unused substitute against Tottenham and then missed out completely on the City squad for the win over Wolves, with Guardiola revealing the 22-year-old picked up a knock in the Manchester derby two weeks ago.
However, at his press conference on Thursday, the City boss gave an update that suggested Foden could be involved against the Gunners at the Etihad.
“It is getting better, we have training this afternoon,” Guardiola told reporters.
There are otherwise no injury concerns for City and, with more than a week until they face Tottenham in their next Premier League match, it’s likely to be a strong lineup put out even if there are a few changes.
