Manchester City will have Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Ruben Dias available for Thursday’s Premier League clash against Tottenham, Pep Guardiola has confirmed.
John Stones and Ruben Dias were back in training this week after missing the Manchester derby through injury.
Dias has not featured since picking up a hamstring injury with Portugal at the World Cup, while Stones suffered an issue last week that forced him out of the last two fixtures.
Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench against Southampton and started the derby. However, he did not take part in Tuesday’s group session to raise doubts over his availability for the Spurs game.
Pep Guardiola has revealed at his press conference that there was nothing to worry about with De Bruyne, revealing that he had only missed training on Tuesday because of a personal issue.
“Has a personal issue. Didn’t train. He’s back,” he said.
The Catalan also confirmed that central defenders Ruben Dias and John Stones are also in contention to play, with the defensive duo having been sidelined recently due to injury.
“They are back last two training sessions. Train well, they are in contention,” confirmed the City manager.
