Jack Grealish is reportedly a key part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and is currently more than happy with his current situation at the Premier League champions.
The 27-year-old England international had a poor first season with the club appearing 39 times, scoring 6 times and providing a further 4 assists.
So far this season, he was ineffective up until the World Cup break, scoring only one goal against Wolves and providing 0 assists. However, since returning to City Grealish’s form has picked up, with the club’s record signing providing 1 goal and 4 assists across all competitions.
The former Aston Villa man still has a lot to do to justify his price tag, however as of writing this Grealish is clearly Guardiola’s first-choice left-winger with fellow English international Phil Foden suffering from a foot injury and a loss of form.
According to Sam Lee of The Athletic, Jack Grealish is a key part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and the player is more than happy with his situation at Manchester City.
As per the Journalist, the former Aston Villa man has a ‘9/10 chance’ of staying with City this summer with rumours of the Blues going into the market for a winger, this will not affect Grealish’s position at the club.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
