Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is plotting a move for Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The 22-year-old Georgian winger has been enjoying one of the finest seasons of his career as the Naples club take the top flight of Italy by storm.
So far this campaign, Kvaratskhelia has managed 12 goals and 15 assists in a mere 27 appearances and is proving to be one of the standout talents in Europe.
With such promising statistics so far, it is not surprising that Kvaratskhelia has reportedly caught the eye of Pep Guardiola. According to TeamTalk, Man City are showing “real interest” in signing the Napoli winger.
The left winger is naturally being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League. Given his incredible recent form, it comes as no surprise that Napoli are not overly keen to let him leave.
He is under contract until 2027 and Graeme Bailey has told TEAMtalk that Napoli are “looking at an enormous £150m price tag for Kvaratskhelia at this point”.
Bailey adds that Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are “looking at him” while Man City and Newcastle are showing the “greatest interest” out of teams in the Premier League.
