Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Oleksandr Zinchenko is on Newcastle United’s list of potential January transfer targets.
The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola this season, and hasn’t featured in a Premier League fixture since the 5-0 win over Arsenal back in August.
Zinchenko, whose deal with Man City does not expire until 2024, has played only 56 minutes in the Premier League so far this season, although was given a rare start in midfield for Wednesday night’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
The £25.2m-rated Ukrainian international has found first-team minutes difficult to come by since regaining fitness following a calf injury as Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker currently occupy starting positions in Pep Guardiola’s XI.
The Northern Echo reported earlier this week that Newcastle fancy signing Zinchenko on loan in January.
According to the latest report from Mail Plus, Oleksandr Zinchenko is on Newcastle’s list of potential January targets, with a loan offer being weighed up for the Man City defender as Eddie Howe attempts to steer them clear of relegation trouble.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Nop. On loan to Newcastle? Never ever.

He bleeds blue and will fight back for his spot in this beautiful team. We all know Zina becomes one of the best squad option for us always in the second half of the league when fatigue starts coming in. For Zina it is CTID!!💙
